With his open manner and clear approach, Georg embodies what Bio Hotel Panorama is all about. He runs the hotel with the conviction that the organic approach must be more than just a label – it is an attitude that is demonstrated in every detail. From selecting partner businesses to nurturing guest relationships and developing the hotel further: Georg embodies the philosophy for the hotel.
At his side stands Julia – with a keen sense for aesthetics, warmth and organisation. She also ensures that every guest feels comfortable from the very first moment they arrive. Together they create an atmosphere that is genuine and vibrant.

Friedrich & Thea Steiner
Thea is the soul of the hotel. For decades, she has been welcoming guests with a warmth that cannot be taught. Her experience as a hostess continues to shape Bio Hotel Panorama to this day. Whether at breakfast, in the restaurant or during a spontaneous conversation in the lobby: Thea always has a sympathetic ear and the right advice ready.
Friedrich is a man with two great passions: the hotel’s organic garden and his own distillery. At 1,050 metres above sea level, he cultivates over 70 herb varieties, 20 different types of tomatoes – some of which are old, mostly forgotten varieties – and a wide selection of vegetables and salad leaves. Everything is harvested seasonally and arrives fresh on your plates. Its centrepiece is the Steiner Organic Distillery. You can perceive it with all your senses: for Friedrich, distilling is more than just a craft – it is all about dedication.

What organic means to us
The organic concept doesn’t just start on the plate. Organic living begins with making a decision about how we want to farm, build and live. This means that all the food in our restaurant comes from organic farming. We have deliberately chosen natural materials for construction. Our rooms are furnished with organic bed linen. Thanks to network isolation (Bio Switch), you can sleep free from electromagnetic sensitivity and radiation, green electricity flows throughout the house and electric vehicle charging points are available outside the hotel. For us, organic is an attitude, not a marketing strategy.
