Organic vegetables & potatoes grown with conviction

Daniel Primisser

Anyone who gets to know Daniel Primisser and his family from Moleshof in Prad am Stilfserjoch/Prato allo Stelvio quickly realises that they are organic farmers for whom the soil, the seeds and the seasons are more than just work-related factors – they are both a livelihood and a passion.

At Moleshof, everything revolves around potatoes, but as these only thrive in the same field once every three years, the family also grows rotational crops, such as spelt, rye, polenta, black emmer and root vegetables. All this and more is available at Moleshof, including a fantastic selection of seed and nut oils. You can’t get closer to nature.

From agriculture to diversity

Vegetables, potatoes and more

At Moleshof, everything revolves around potatoes and root vegetables: juicy carrots, aromatic parsnips, beetroot and later celery – plus seasonal cabbage and pumpkins. As early as June, the first potato varieties can be harvested, followed by others that are supplied through to April.

Sustainable for today and tomorrow

Organic farmer

To keep the soil strong and fertile, Daniel systematically cultivates rotating crops, thereby ensuring healthy crop rotation and biodiversity in his fields. With his experience gained from years of farming and an eye for natural cycles, Daniel not only produces vegetables and potatoes, but also cares for the soil on which they grow – for today and for the future.

Sustainably produced organic oils

Pure power from the seed

But Moleshof is more than just a farm that grows vegetables. Another of the family’s great passions is producing cold-pressed organic oils, which are obtained from high-quality seeds. Thanks to particularly gentle processing, all the important nutrients, vitamins and flavours are preserved. These natural oils reflect the region’s diversity and respectful approach to nature.

Moleshof & its organic products

The power lies in the roots

Natural and down-to-earth

At Moleshof a varied range of vegetables is grown: from carrots and parsnips to beetroot and cabbage – all seasonal and organic. The business is firmly rooted in regional agriculture.

Variety of flavours that taste great

Potatoes take centre stage: harvested early, later varieties with waxy and floury textures. Carefully planned crop rotations and natural soil care ensure healthy tubers and rich yields.

Variety for the field

Spelt, polenta and black emmer are part of the crop rotation and help to keep the soil alive. This cultivation method promotes soil structure, nutrient balance and species richness

Gently pressed and rich in nutrients

Using seeds like linseed and coconuts, Moleshof produces high-quality oils, which retain their natural ingredients through gentle pressing – a real benefit for conscious nutrition .
